Intakit exists because most legal software helps store the record but still leaves the firm carrying readiness by hand. Missing documents, buried messages, loose deadlines, and scattered context still have to be reconstructed by someone under pressure.

We are a small, founder-led company building a system that turns live firm activity into prepared work while keeping attorney judgment in control.

Why Intakit exists

The legal work is hard enough. Staying prepared should not require constant reconstruction. A matter can exist in software and still be unprepared: the intake is incomplete, an email changed the posture, a document is still missing, or the next useful action is trapped in someone's head.

Intakit was built to close that gap. We care about the operating burden that sits between the stored record and the moment an attorney actually has to act.

  • Reliability as trust: In law practice software, bugs can cause real harm. We treat testing, approval boundaries, auditability, and careful rollout as part of the product itself.

What We Believe

  • Records are not readiness: A case can exist in software and still force the firm to hunt for what is missing, what changed, and what matters now.
  • Prepared work beats novelty: We care more about the right work being ready at the right moment than about flashy AI interactions that do not survive real use.
  • Attorney judgment stays decisive: AI should reduce vigilance burden, not create a new one or quietly take over consequential legal decisions.
  • Trust is earned through behavior: We would rather harden the product carefully than market it broadly before it has earned that trust.

Where we are now

Intakit is in early access on purpose. Before broad selling, the product needs to survive real workflow pressure, reveal real usage bugs, and prove it can create repeatable preparedness moments inside live firms.

That is slower than a loud launch, but it is the right posture for software that affects client service, deadlines, documents, and professional responsibility.
